"I can name almost all of the basketball players who played for me, even the ones I coached in high school. They become almost like your children. They're closest to you next to your own flesh and blood."
- John Wooden

John Wooden remembered his players long after he coached them because he loved them. Athletes remember their coaches long after they are done playing their sport. Not because of wins and losses but because their coach loved them.

This is why PAO started Coaches Time Out (CTO) conferences in 1998. Our vision is to provide coaches and their spouses with valuable tools in renewing their hearts, rejuvenating their relationships, and refining their skills. We believe strengthening coaches in these areas enables them to maximize their positive impact on youth and in their communities as they model coaching excellence and a life lived in pursuit of Christ.
