The National Coaches Leadership Council is a group of nationally recognized coaches known for instilling character and integrity in their athletes. They share a passion for the mission and vision of Coaches Time Out.

Coach SparksKen Sparks is the Head Football Coach at Carson-Newman University.  Since becoming head coach at Carson-Newman in 1980, Sparks has built the Eagles football program into one of the nation's elite, first at the NAIA level and now in NCAA Division II. In 27 years, Sparks has led Carson-Newman to five NAIA national titles four national runner-up finishes, 18 South Atlanctic Conference championships and 20 NAIA or NCAA Division II playoff appearances.  With 259 victories Coach Sparks is first in division two and fourth among all divisions in terms of wins among active coaches. reeve2Dan Reeves played in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys for over eight seasons playing in two Super Bowls and winning one in 1971. After his playing career, he entered coaching and quickly had success. He won his second Super Bowl in 1977, this time as an offensive coordinator for Cowboys. Coach Reeves later took a job as Head Coach of the Denver Broncos and won three AFC championships while coaching there. He has twice been awarded the AP Coach of the year award, once as Head Coach of the New York Giants and again as the Head Coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Dan coached a total of twenty three years in the NFL and his nine Super Bowl appearances are the most by a player or coach. Dan Reeves was recently hired by Georgia St. university as the Head Football Consultant. LoRo2Lorenzo Romar is the Men's Head Basketball Coach at the University of Washington. In just four seasons with the Huskies he is already the fifth winningest coach in school history with 84 wins. In this same time frame the Huskies have reached the sweet sixteen twice and played in the NCAA tournament three times. In 2005 he guided the Huskies to a 29-6 record tying the school record for most victories in a season set back in 1938. That same season the Huskies received their first ever No. 1 seed for the NCAA tournament. Coach Romar was named the 2005 Pac-10 Coach of the Year and the Black Coaches Association National Coach of the Year. He is also a member of the John R. Wooden Coaches Wall of Honor. RichtMark Richt is the Head Football Coach for the University of Georgia. In his six seasons as head coach the Bulldogs won three SEC Eastern Division titles, two SEC championships and have a record of 61-17. JVDJohn Van Dyke is heading into his eighth season as the Head Men's Basketball Coach at Northwest University. The Eagles have improved every season over the last seven seasons. This past season the Eagles went 29-7 overall and played in the NAIA semi-finals. They finished the regular season ranked 16th in the final NAIA national poll. Rich Maloney has spent the last five years as the Head Coach of the University of Michigan baseball team. He has helped restore Michigan baseball to its past prominence, winning the Big-10 conference two of the past three seasons. In 2006 the Wolverines won both the conference regular season and the Big-10 tournament - the first time that UM had won both in the same season. In 2005 and 2006 Rich Maloney coached the team to back-to-back NCAA tournaments. In 2007 he coached the Wolverines to the NCAA Super Regional. In the offseason Rich keeps busy by running his own baseball camp for the youth. Rich Maloney's Michigan Baseball Camp is for ages 6 and up and is offered both in the summer and the winter.
